As usual, got good lobang, I'll share here with you guys! Cos good things must share, and spread the looooooooooooooooove! hahahaha!

Alright, yea, Mr C told me about this charger that he has gotten from gmarket, and he said he tried it out and verdict is: it's good! He's currently holding a samsung note, and a samsung galaxy tablet (iirc) and uses this to charge both! Good point: This charger stops charging after your device is full!

So introducing this charger, memorette MP5000. As from the picture, you can see that the juicey battery has 5000mA Li-Polymer. 5000mA can charge iPhone about 2 times full charge if I'm not wrong. More than enough for me. Usually I just need another half charge that's all. Before this charger, I was using those portable charger where u insert at the bottom of your iphone. That charger died on me in less than 2 months, and Mr C passed me his, and it died on me also again having weird high pitched sound when I'm charging and heats up easily. BUT, that was THAT LAO-POK-1900MA-CHARGER. Now this is different.

I love how the outer furnishing of the charger looks like, given a matt-finished and beautiful round touch to the design. Sleak and nice. Light-weighted. Oh yes, I shall say the price first kay? Now it cost $34+$7shipping cost. Total $41! Original price $50! So you can grab it now!

Please do read the reviews at the bottom of this gmarket link as some of you may feel that chey only I say is good etc. No! Of cos Mr C read the reviews and lots of them said it's highly recommended. He himself tried the charger. And few months later, which is now, he bought one for me as well!

This 5000mA juice is not to little and not too much. I know there are groupon offers and even online offers on charger than has 11000mAh juice power, or even more for some. I do know another one that has 11,000mAh that is reliable and good but cost $89. I thought to myself, do I need so much battery juice? Perhaps not. If you are holding an iPad, den maybe you will need such a high amt of juice for your iPad. Else, I feel this is more than sufficient for me! But hey, back to here! 5000mAh from korea! :D I don't really understand the korean words though. Some of you may notice this word "china" at bottom left of the box. Now, even our branded bags like LV are made in china. Meaning their factories are in china. However quality is still there. Don't generalised things made in china aren't good. In fact they are! Obviously if you buy some really cheap stuffs, den it don't expect much! I think this product is assembled in china or something? Anyway, from korea, i'm sure they do have quality control right? :D And so far it hasn't let down Mr C's expectation!

Unboxing this whole thing gives you the above picture. Bad thing about it, the guide is in korean words. I don't understand about it! Good thing is, this is idiot proof so I don't bother about the guide. To those who don't know how to use it, it's simple. Just read on :)

The above picture, you do see the wire, as well as the 4 adaptor heads in the plastic mold? Yes, they are suppose to connect to each other depending on which model phones you have. Charging anything like camera is possible however I don't guarantee full charge of cos. As said, it's 5000mA, so don't be too ridiculous and say it doesn't charge my dslr full etc -.- Maybe charging compact camera for like emergency last few shots should be okay. I haven't test that yet. So, shall update next time.

Frequently asked question, never give charger point how to charge? Now almost all phone chargers are made in such a way that they have a head 3-pin, connected to a USB wire which is removable. Yes, just use that 3-pin head that's it. And connect using the wire given as shown in the picture above!

And so, the size of this is slightly bigger than my palm (i didn't say the whole hand). I do have small hands, so it's not very big. It's light-weighted for a girl like me, putting all the wires and adaptors into the bag isn't very heavy.

Loving this charger so far, because it's SO CHIO LA PLS! T.T Haha! Matt finishing is good in a sense that it doesn't leave finger print! Plus they provide a velvet-touch bag to put ur charger in. How good is that! :D

FML day :(

Well and well. Today really, hais. Let me start my story. (I today special use camera take never use handphone hor! LOL! took pictures while i'm on mask). *pictures are clickable to read on them if you're interested to get them!*

I'm an iPhone user, and I don't deny that iPhone is not perfect. Well, phones and technology don't last right? Of cos they do have problems cropping up here and there. Okay, maybe I'm kinda suay? Idk.

My phone previously had the home button problem where I press so many times and nothing responded. Like pms like that. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Yes I do know that the new ios has the function whereby you can just tab the screen and navigate instead of using the home button again (AH HA, not everyone know hor! If you wan know u can leave a message or pm me or something den I teach u. Kinda lazy to explain here x:) So that point of time i didn't know abt the function till alena taught me (and alena's an android user!!!!!!!!!!!!!) #epicfailsme.

Thus, I went to change my phone (still under warranty) last year and I thought I changed it in December. Forgot where i put the receipt. My 1 year warranty ends Mid Jan 2012. Thus, I thought they might have extended 3 months for me out of kindness. The information counter which I took the queue number from, told me that today is the last day of my warranty. Happy and feeling lucky, I waited for my turn.

HOWEVER, upon my turn, a stern looking customer service lady serving me was like hmmm in a i'm-not-so-happy-today-and-if-something-bad-happens-i'm-gonna-kick-ur-ass-that-feeling and after hmm`ing for sometime and pressing and clicking her computer, she said, sorry it's not under warranty and I have to pay $350 if I wanna change to another set.

WTS?!

I was like huh?! the counter lady told me today my last day warranty. Ok nvm, being nice, i didn't argue further and let the matter go, considering myself stupid cos i'm freaking lazy and forgot about changing it when I came back from Shanghai. Partly my fault. I not unreasonable ok? and I can't remember when I changed it. I really tot it was dec. hais.

Wasted trip when I thought I was still under warranty and despite still recovering from my sickness I just went out! (of cos I did feel better, at least the fever is gone!) But still! Wasted trip! sms my mum, my sis, my friends to rant abt it. LOL. My mum was like haha! and said just wait till can renew lorhs. I was like HAIS :(

Okay, forget about that. I just went to centrepoint to claim my groupon which I bought. Yes, I was researching about this company's products saying it's made from dead sea. I know dead sea products are good for skin as I have bought dead sea cleanser and body scrub from other brands before. Thus, after hearing that AHAVA sells good dead sea mask for face, I just bought 2 groupons at an offer of pay $10 for $20 worth! I saw online that it cost $39 bucks, so buying 2 groupon = $40 worth should be able to cover for 1 mask.

So, I went to level 3, found the store, and enter in. Immediately, a middle age lady, who obviously has v good pushing sales skills and vvvv outspoken approached me, and asked if she could be of any help. I oblige and said that I was looking for dead sea mask. I'm kinda happy she took me seriously because I know alot of people kind of don't like students roaming around their stores thinking they are just to see and not to buy and despise them, ignoring them thinking they won't even buy anything. Worse, thinking they might steal things. Okay, I know there are some black sheeps out there so inevitably they will think that way. Thus usually I'll just walk and see myself. Ok back to topic.

So she showed me and mask and I thought it was the sheet kind. She said nope. I asked her how long can this last? She says 1 year. (125grams worth of mask can last 1 year? o.o") She say use every week! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!~ had my doubts but, well, she said 1 year. Can't argue right since I never use this before! You all can judge from the picture below ba.

Then, I asked how much does it cost. She told me $50! OMG?! Okay I'm not working and is currently a student. $50 to me is alot! But thinking that I have 2 vouchers, which I just need to top up $10 extra! So, I told her I did have the voucher, and I bought 2! She then recommended me the day moisturizer and let me try on my hand. It feels good and not oily! She said it cost $62 and I could use the voucher. One for each product. I was like huh? I can't use both on the mask? Then, I saw the fine print - 1 groupon per transaction.

FML.................................

Usually I DO READ fine prints. Maybe I'm too caught up with researching about the reviews and all and too excited that caused me to make such a no-brainer mistake -.- I really felt like OMG-I'M-GONNA-STRANGLE-AND-KILL-MYSELF and messaged Mr C and told him abt it! Hais!

Well, since got voucher liao, 2 somemore, and since the mask I heard is good, suan le, just set on the mask. I went around trying to look for the cheeeeeeeeeapestttttttttttttttttt product that can fit within the other voucher of $20 worth. I saw this foot cream at promotion $21! And I was like pretending to be very interested and asked her about it! moreover it has tea tree extract which I heard is good for skin given I have vvvvv dry skin! She told me is good and added "but you can't use the groupon for it. because it's under promotion." Then I went to find for another product, and she said I can't use it either because it's not under groupon! WHAT?! Sad die.

This is not all! The very pek-chek-what-the-omg-i-can-really-faint-thing is that, I finally saw something closer to the voucher value of $20 is this body wash micro-peeling cream wash that is said to be "Best beauty buys 2011 winner of Women's Weekly!" and it's $30!!!! I mean it's of cos ex for a body wash where a normal 1 litre bottle of like a simple johnson baby bath cost like less than $20-.- But at that desperate times calls for desperate measures! This consider oh-my-tian safe life safe pocket!

Obviously I do saw $30 bucks at the price displayed there beside the bottles but I asked anyway about the cost of this product. (of cos must pretend not v price conscious ma LOL.) She said it was $32. I HUH?! Then I just randomly say "but i thought there put it's $30? why isit $32?"

Of cos you all may say, it's only $2 what. Why so kiam about it? Why bother?

Some of you may say that of cos. But to me, I'm just kinda shock why she increase $2 when the price clearly stats $30! funny right? Then she pointed to me, (she pointed at the above picture stating 2011 WINNER), and said "see this? 2011! now 2012. price different. increase $2!". Then she showed me the bottom of the bottle where it stats $32. Please lo! This price tag is like I go value shop they stick that kind of price tag -.- (see 2 pictures down)

Okay, cast price aside, I read the description at the back and it seems quite good. Well, haven't try so I shan't give a verdict yet! Wait till I try then tell you all good anot! If good den these that happen won't be fml liao HAHA.

Saw the $32? -.- I totally speechless. LOL.

Not to mention, the moment I showed her the groupon vouchers at the point where I just looked at the dead sea mask, she held on to both my vouchers and didn't return me, grab the mask and bring it wherever I go. Keep telling me how good it is, and said top up abit only la, can one. Not very ex. And promoting to me almost every products she can! Then she put the products on the cashier counter and tell me go there decide. LOL. Super hard sell sia! Bo bian, Of cos I chose the cheapest, most worth combination, The mask and the Body wash. Top up $42 bucks. Adding in the amount spent on voucher - $42 + $20 = $62!

$62 BUCKS! I CAN EAT ALOT OF THINGS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok maybe the only and only slightly tiny comforting thing is she gave me 3 samples. Hand cream, Body Lotion, and Foot cream. (it is vvvvvvvvvvv small hor. like 1/3 of ez link card size only!) Well, but better than nothing. At least she did try to make me into a return customer so that I may come back and buy their products. But on a serious note, if their products are really really good, I'll go back and buy!

Enough of ranting. Here's a picture of the bicycle Mr C bought for me, used for cycling outside, and hanging things in the house! HAHA! Useful right? Sorry for messy background :(

End off with this super childhood biscuit to intro to you guys - CHICKEN BISCUIT! It's yummy and delicious. Has 2 huge packs inside that you can't finish. Cost $2 odd? Few weeks back NTUC had promo of $1.60 thus my mum bought back 2 boxes for me. Finished all by me myself. This is already my 3rd box LOL. Ok I'm an extremist. If I like something, I'll keep doing doing doing it.

Prevent ants on ur food!

Alright, i'm sure you guys have problems like facing those ants crawling up to ur food and infest ur food like mad and you would have no choice but to throw them away right?

Yea! I pass by with my mum at raffles place of this stall that is selling this product from taiwan.

see the bottom of this "plate". It is said to have scientific proof that the ants will crawl up and keep go round, get lost, and follow its path back again.

This is how the front looks like, u can put ur bread or any food on top.

okay i tried drawing this picture of how it looked like. the "logic" behind it. it'll keep going in circle till lost, and walk it's way back.

Verdict: So far so good! No ants on my food!

Price: 2 for $10. However that day was the last day sale at raffles exchange there. I think they'll open again at buy 10 get 1 free. 1 for $6!

Nakhon Kitchen @ Hougang

Alright, so here's another food scout I have tried. This place, I have been quite a few times. I must say, it's a restaurant that I haven't yet to get sick off. Which means - It's rather good!

Of cos, I won't comment that it's super-oh-delicious-freaking-nice-like-mad-that-i'm-dying-for because I DO know that everyone has different taste. (but seriously, I freaking LOVE and ADORE this restaurant! *spread arms across*)

I did read reviews on http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/nakhon_kitchen_hougang/ that "this is not authentic thai food, different from what I ate at thailand, etcetc", but of cos there are good reviews saying "the good is good, etc". I mean, as mentioned, one man's meat is another man's poison, right? Well, I can say I'm not food gourmet. I'm just a normal average singaporean! I have been once to thailand when I was very little, thus, if you ask me what's authentic thailand food, what comes to my mind is er, tomyam? sweet thai chilli sauce? LOL. As long as the food taste good, I'll keep eating it. (that's how i fall sick w cough, flu, fever, ulcers, headache by finishing the whole bottle of nutella within 1-2 weeks LOL)

Like I did crave for popiah for a period of time, and stopped eating once I'm satisfied and temporarily "sick" of it cos ate too much lmaos. However, I have yet to be "sick" off food served by nakhon kitchen!

Was planning to eat some teochew porridge with my parents, however, due to no carpark space, my mum suggested this thai food restaurant recommended by her church friends where we ate quite a few times already and my whole family love it!

This place is situated near kovan. It is definitely walkable from kovan mrt. If you do know how to walk to macdonalds' from kovan mrt, then from macs, you just walk straight down till the end of the row of shophouses, till you reach Nakhon Kitchen!

Opening Hours:

Daily: 12pm–3pm, 5.30pm–10pm

Don't be afraid of the queue because it's very VERY fast. The service there is SUPERB! Their service is quick, yet do not lack service quality. Polite, and well, HUNKS AND MUSCULAR THAI service crew with thai ladies! The male service crews are super powerful! Well, me being someone who graduated from hospitality and tourism management, and seen guys of my cohort carrying plates and cutleries as well as working F&B before, and seeing how men work and how much they can carry, I can say, these thai guys can carry much more! It's like they cleared the table within 1-2mins (I dare say just in half a sec), and stack the plates and utensils on just 1 hand, and the remaining on the other steadily! *KUDOS* Even my parents are always so amused and wow by their skills! (got one guy v muscular and handsome okay! ash-colour hair one! woo!) and my mum was saying to bring C to eat here next time after church!

Okay enough of words raving, because there are only 3 of us eating, we didn't order super alot. The portions given here are not normal zi char portions. lesser, but definitely cheaper.

Example, this appetizer cost about $3? (IIRC) Nice, hot, crispy, and definitely loving the sauce. These are mini spring rolls for appetizers. They have salads like thai mango salad, etc. I'm sorry I did not take photo of the whole menu cos so paiseh where they looking at me snapping 2 pics of the menu. Later they thought I want snatch their business how?!?!?!?! (kiasi)

My mum's favourite! The moment she got hold of the menu, she was telling me, must order this fish! She like! My mum's taste bud is more traditional. She don't eat like jap food, no raw sashimi, not much korean food. She eats more like chinese food and likes fish soup those kind. Not like me so unhealthy (i love fried chicken LOL).

My family loves this! It's kinda abit spicy. Not super-ultra-spicy! I mean, thai food usually has chilli right? So those cannot take spicy i don't tink u'll eat thai food D: BUT I LOVE THIS DISH. this is minced chicken. they have minced pork too!

The veggie i loveeeeeeeee! I usually don't eat the stalk. but for this, i grabbed the stalk and chew chew chew. my mum says they used big kailan! that's why the stalk like that. and I loveee the mushrooms!

Oh yes, the waiting time is ONLY 5mins? Very fast!

There are still alot of dishes. However my family don't eat much, thus, we always order the same old thing. Prolly when I get time after exams to come with C, we'll definitely order something else and try different food that the usual ones I eat with my family!

Oh yes, something different and first time ordering. I saw this on the menu where they have lemongrass drink! It's good for your body! Thus, I ordered for myself and my mum! I told the waitress that I didn't want ice in my cup as I couldn't take cold drink and she informed me that it would be rather kinda v sweet if they didn't have ice but she see what she can do!

I was expecting like a kinda-abit-cold-with-no-or-minimum-ice-lemongrass-drink. And they gave me a warm lemongrass drink! So sweet! I thought they didn't have it warm one! Usually I prefer drinking warm drink! This is perfect! Though I can say it's really quite sweet butbutbut so fragrant!!!!

My dad's one is the ice milktea. My mum and I ordered for him and I took a sip. I saw many ppl ordering that day thus, I ask the waitress what's that and ordered a cup for my dad HAHA. It is quite a refreshing drink, different from normal milktea we get from the coffeeshop! I can say, it's a must-try for those milktea lovers! $3 a cup! :D

Oh yes, if you did not order any drink, they do have iced plain water served to you! Don't blame them if they didn't give u automatically as not everyone wants it! Just raise ur hand and request for it! Do request if you want a refill! They are just v busy and vvv pack!

Besides these, my dad tried the sauces, and he love the one I pointed out in the picture! He said it tasted abit like prawn paste with other spices and he keep eating that chilli sauce LOL

Not only that, every table has like this roll of toilet paper. Ok, you tell me, which restaurant you go provides tissue/toilet paper that is F-R-E-E?! Not many okay. At least here, they provide toilet paper and I really appreciate it ALOT! (apologies for the failed le me drawing -.-)

Enough of raving about this. (Actually I do have something cool that my mum bought at raffles place to share with you guys. Think I'll leave it for another day!)

It's really up to you whether you want to give it a try or not! I find it no harm just trying. They do have another outlet at bedok for those who are interested. Daddy's Birthday Lunch at Seafood International!

So with much rave about this restaurant I went a few times, compared to last time, they had some food changed in the menu and replace with others! Can't remember what but anyway, this time round we went eating, the food was quite nice and platable! Ala carte buffet style! Didn't take pictures of the dessert because I was too busy eating. The buffet price is quite affordable as well.

Of cos I didn't say every single food is omg-freaking-so-super-delicous! There are food which I don't really like such as the terriyaki chicken and the steam seabass with tomato sauce. I love the mussels as well as the assorted mushroom with kailan, and some more of others! well let alot of pictures just do some of the talking yea?

Together with my grandma, we went there for lunch as a celebration for my dad's birthday. I personally did feel that the standard seems to drop a little compared to the last time i went there like months ago. LOL. But still okay for me. I mean it's not like MELTS buffet or THE LINE that ex! I think it is a rather good get-together-family lunch place. They only do have buffet for lunch so yea. When we were there, we saw a couple having their solemnization ceremony there! Quite a good serene place as this restaurant is facing East Coast Park. (Basically it's located at Big Splash at East Coast Park! Parking is free if you eat at the restaurant!)

My grandma is the one who actually drinks tomyam with me! my family members dare not drink this!!! Cool grandma! hahahaha!

Had a great bonding time with my family as well as eating to our hearts' content! You guys can give it a try going there. Unless you are a super-high-quality-gourmet-taster-and-needs-high-quality-food and only eat those top-chef-standard cuisine, otherwise, I would recommend this place! :)

A Dog Ride

So, it started off where C bought this bike for me, and I left it there, unopened, and bags + etc were hanging on the handle and boxes put on the bike LOL! *guilty much* Then mummy put sachi in the basket and she sat in the basket not moving. It will be super ultra cute to bring her on a ride with her sitting in the basket. HOWEVER.............

One fine day (just yesterday), my sis and I brought her down for a ride. (pictures with sis, thus didn't upload here). However the story goes like this..

My sister and I were taking turns to cycle while she's happily sitting in the basket with a cushion so that sachi doesn't have her butt hurting or any sorts. And when my sis was cycling, the very-so-timid-frightened-dog, sachi, JUMPED OFF THE BASKET, and her leash + collar came off her neck, and she was running off!!! *screams shouts*!

I quickly ran after her and caught her while she was trying to poop. The scary thing was, the road was just BESIDE us, and it's the main road, with lots and lots of cars dashing past fast! We almost had our hearts popped out -.-" After which, we just let her walk around and sis carried her as the tired-and-lazy dog didn't want to walk anymore. LOL.

My sis's arms had lots of red markings as sachi kept barking at strangers walking by and she always does that. Imagine how many ppl are jogging, cycling, walking around at the park! Really noisy and she even scratches ur face by accident just to get a view on the stranger and bark at them.

But she's still cute okay! hahahahaha! Ok gonna end here! Study time!!!!!!!

Insolutions Mask by Leaders

Recently there has been a rave in korean masks of this particular brand "Insolutions Mask by Leaders". It is said to be one of the most popular mask and there are tons of it being sold everyday esp in Korea. I saw Yutakis' blog post on it, and eventually went to the sole distributor in singapore, http://www.cossy.com.sg/details.php?id=81 and read about it. I'm like 90% convinced by it, (well, given that i have sudden acne breakouts which freaks me out now) thus I went today to Compasspoint Watsons' to grab the mask and signed up for watsons membership too *laughs*!

I always didn't bother signing up for watsons membership because I felt that i wouldn't be buying much from there. However, I think I foresee myself buying insolutions masks (if it's really good), therefore just signed up lo. Anyway it's lifetime membership LOL.

So the kiasu me walked around watsons like so many rounds -.- Finally found it! (I asked the watsons staff and she asked me to go to the pharmacy which i went and it's NOT there!!) I found it around the masks area where they do sell hello kitty masks as well! This is how the shelf looks like with the mask.

My final choices, I went with aquaringer, ac-dressing, mela-tox and collagen lifting. Well, since i'm just gonna try it and see if there's any allergy to my skin or whatsoever, so buy different kinds (taking adv of the current promo buy 3 get 1 free! lol)

I particularly took a favourite to this ac-dressing range where they says it could help reduce minor scars of troubled spots and soothes skin irritation and redness. I get lots of that and really red pimples! Hope this helps!

Liz and Hinna has their photoshoot taken yesterday afternoon to commemorate their friendship for years. Received an sms about a week ago whether I am able to help them take some photos during the evening till night. It was definitely such an honour given that I lack experience, skills, knowledge together with my basic camera. I know they said, camera doesn't matter, skills of photographer matters. Yes indeed. However, little part of it, equipment does matter for those pro photographers! Else where do photographers get their super sharp, pretty, and awesomeness photos with their awesomeness skills! I'm always mind-blown by their photos. Awesome!

Okay back to basics. I agreed definitely to their requests! More than willing to help them out if they don't mind me being such a novice! Haha! Edsmond and Nic came along that day. Esp Edsmond who came the same time as I, been a very good "assistant" shifting the chairs around and arranging some stuffs as well as giving a try out in shooting! I must really respect and kowtow to photographers. It is REALLY tiring to help others do photoshoot. Especially outdoor. To get special unique angles, feel, images, and bring out the purpose and meaning of the photos that they want to portray.

Oh yes, anyway, we went to Vineyard @ Hort Park. Didn't upload the "human" pictures and just uploaded the food ones first. Overall, the food was quite okay. Love the dessert though. I didn't ate much as wasn't that hungry in addition to the upset tummy i had in the afternoon.

The restaurant was really beautiful with nice christmas deco. Price ranges from around $8 to $30 (for appetizers, drinks, desserts, main course, etc). That does not include wines, alcohol, etc.

This is a mixture of nuts, with pomelo and prawns. Dish cost around hmm, $14? with 3 prawns, and lots of pomelo which we didn't finish.

I don't really know how pizzas taste like as I'm an anti-fan of cheese! Sorry!

Love this dessert to bits! It's not chocolate. More of butterscotch with caramel! Love it!

Not mentioning, they service ice water, which has strawberries inside! That's why nic was asking us whether we tasted strawberries when we drink our water! Which afterwards, we spotted strawberries in their water. Amazing. I thought only lemon could be put inside water as a drink. hmm.

For those who want to go there, you can take from habourfront (bus stop opposite seah im), bus 100, 166, or 93 (if I'm not wrong, double check on gothere.sg kay?). About 7 stops later. Then you can spot signs of Hortpark. Just walk straight in =)

Saw this "那些年，我們一起追的女孩" available for download on app store on iPhone. Downloaded it as it is in a form of book. (I sort of like to read stories)

And I have been seeing friends showing this video about this movie. Alot of them reviewed and say it's a very nice movie, touching and can be moved to tears. I definitely gonna watch this :D Finding where to watch only!

Btw, translation is, "Those years, together we chased after that girl". Something like that. I think they are trying to describe or tell story about the times they all chase a girl together? But their english title name is "You are the apple of my eye" .

Hainanese scissors rice!

Having Korean lessons every Tuesday. And after that, will packet dinner home to eat. This week, I decided to try the hainanese scissor rice! I have no idea why is it called scissor rice but well, check it out :)

Located at Kovan, Kovan food court has been just renovated not long ago and their food varieties has improve a lot. Hope their cleanliness stays the same forever! :)

(blogger needs to improve on their mobile blogging with regards to photos. Don't know why photos can be place between words :/)

Nevertheless, the 1st photo is their signboard. I only use phone to take (mobile blogging uh) so only can see signboard lol. Super long queue, but worth the wait.

2nd picture is what I ordered. The food wise is not bad! Ate finish the entire packet LOL! Omg! Cos it's nice. Rate it 4.25/5!

Total damage $4. Abit pricey for food court price. Sorry, hawker centre. Maybe cos they renovated and called food court (no aircon) and is cleaner so more expensive? Even chicken rice at other store raise their price from $2.50 to $2.80 or something.

My house nearby chicken rice also raise price. WHY :( Haish.

Anyway got work tmr. Got to sleep! Don't have motivation to study. Sian. Test this Friday. GG man!

Angelina's birthday! & Shopping at NTUC!

It was Angelina's 21st party held at Pasir ris Costa Sands chalet! The theme is retro! Thus, explains the colourful board below! There were loads of food (failed to take them as I ate like 2 mountains of beehoon with curry, 4 chicken wings, 4 satays and many other food). Mostly cooked and prepared by Angelina's mum! Awesome! :)

Later, her aunt carried in this humongous cake! A shocking encounter was that A HUGE BUG FLEW IN THE BOX. but luckily, it didn't touch the cake HAHAHAHAHAHA! A blessing in disguise indeed!

She was sooo happy that day, smiling and all, but super busy! can tell how tired she was :(

Yet another day, after school on a Saturday (yes, and yes I do have school on saturday :o)! Went to NEX with Marie and Garie. Super fun. Hehe. We went to broaster chicken to take a look as Marie recommended this! She says it is BETTER than KFC. Gonna give it a try one day yea! :D

And last but not least, super fun doing the self checkout at NEX Ntuc! Woo! hahaha! I find that this method is very convenient and faster lo. lessen the queue though. however, i still find most pple going to the counters instead of self checkout. Instead, youngsters are the ones trying this out. For those who are afraid, don't be, there are ntuc staffs helping around that area :D

After getting my ingredients from ntuc, I started baking cookies at around 9+pm at night!

Kneading and kneading as this is my first time trying it out. kinda changed the recipe abit cos didn't have enough time.

Because recipe stated that i need to roll the dough on a plastic sheet, and put in the fridge for several hours. However, not enough time!!! Thus, i just tested 3 cookies and see how it turns out. Tasted, and eh, not that bad. So just baked the whole thing :D

MingJia Korean Food at Bukit Timah Plaza

Here I am posting about another food place I have tried after seeing it being the top 10 list (top 2 actually) on hungrygowhere, a widely used website for food recommendations, I decided to give it a try.

It is located at B1 of Bukit Timah Plaza. Just walk around and you can find it! :)

It is called MingJia Korean Food. Run by a korean ahjumma and chinese lady. A simple store, but yet, sells nice food.

I have searched for quite a awhile about any recent prices of the food. Couldn't find it. Thus, I thought it might be good if I include this picture of the prices of the dishes sold. There are some at the bottom, but I didn't take them! :)

My try was of cos the recommended by everyone who went there - bibimbap! It used to cost $5 I think. However I got it for 6. Sorry for the picture untilted, I tilted it but when I uploaded, it was not tilted :/ The portion is alot for a girl, thus, I recommend for girls to share this. Their hot pepper sauce is really good, different from korean restaurants I ate in singapore. It is really on par with those that I had in korea in 2008!

Yea some of you may wonder, why isn't it in a stone bowl or something, the really traditional way. Well, I don't have a clue myself, however i swear it taste nice! Haha!

So this is the $6 set which IMO, i feel it's worth! It is very addictive and I'm missing it as I'm typing this post!

Specially and especially love their kimchi to bits! Unlike outside, it taste like the nicest so far I ever tried in singapore. Well do recommend to me other places if u think the korean food is nice :D Samantha recommend me another one that sells better ddeobukki which is kim's family restuarant I think. Will blog about that when I get to try there.

You can stir in your kimchi with ur bibimbap, else eat it alone. Super nice :D

And not forgetting kelp soup to help balance the highly flavoured bibimbap! :D

Bf chose jjajangmun! Well, I did see at the store, the korean instant noodle pack of ramen and jjajangmum. I was telling bf, why not I go buy and cook them and eat. However he pointed out saying "you buy and cook confirm taste not as nice as this". True, in korea some places do use their manufactured korean ramen / jjajangmum pack and added their own soup base, and ingredients in to make the food taste better. Well, I'm not sure if they did use the seasoning pack that comes with the instant noodles, however, they cooked this noodles texture just nice! super qq! :) I really recommend you to give it a try for those who scared spicy like bibimbap or kimchi (slight spiciness)! :) If i'm not wrong, this cost $5 :)

Old Airport Road Hawker Centre

I was walking around old airport rd hawker centre to search for my dinner few weeks back with my parents. walked and walked around. and finally decided on this long queue char kway tiao.As usual, the soybean curb from lao ban was sold out. Dad didn't know about lao ban existence LOL. and he bought from 51 instead. And we saw lao ban trails a long queue and kinda expected it to be sold out soon = no point queuing.

Back to main point, this is the stall of char kway tiao.

waited quite long. was cooked by an uncle, and served by an aunty, while there's one more aunty preparing the ingredients.It tasted alright only. Maybe giving a 3/5? Nothing much special. I thought it was very nice given the queue and ordered $4 instead of the standard size, $3! Couldn't finish! haha!

What horrors me when I was queuing, was that I saw a small cockroach crawling in the stall. And there were flies flying on the plate (well flies are common, so are cockroaches), and the aunty uses 1 dirty-looking cloth, to clean the banana leaf on each plate before char kway tiao was put on. Lol. I told my mum about it and she said, nvm just eat. Yea I gobble down as i was very hungry, and added "I just hope i won't find a roach in my food halfway eating" LOL. and my mum said "CHOY!!!!"

Tmr's marie's 21st party! :D Definitely gonna have loads of fun! :D

p.s. there seems to be a craz over soybean curb now. the cold version. My area bus interchange opens 2 different stores selling them. Tried one of the store - nah, cannot be compared to 51 nor lao ban!

Loving the new lecture halls with temperature just right :) the old lecture halls are really too cold for me! And the new lecture halls are spacious! Love it so much! Oh yea, they have sockets at every 2 chairs interval. Charging ur phone or laptop becomes much easier! Shall bring charger next time to sch every sat!

Blogger has now this cool iPhone app and I'm using it to blog now!! Cool eh?

As you can see, the photo shows the print screen of the app im currently using now! But still, cant arrange the photo as and where I want it to be!

Nevertheless, today is my official start of first day of school! Can't procrastinate like previous years! Haha! And to start of with, I had insomnia-.- couldn't sleep till 2am last night as many thoughts were going through my mind.

I really had this passion flame to learn Korean language! (hope to learn Malay too! But not now!) I felt that languages are very important! However, learning Korean in Singapore is really very costly. One course e.g. Basic 1 cost ard $300! It is really costly for a student like me. Not sure whether I should self study and get Korean books or go school to learn. a pity I didn't manage to get in local uni. Else I could start learning free as part of electives in school like how some of my friends does and my bf learning it in ntu soon! Bah :/

I hope to learn as many languages as possible!

Anyway tomorrow has school (yea, I know it's a sat)! Long lectures again!!!

Oh I didn't blog about this funny thing. Okay I always have nightmare. It's kinda irritating to me already as I just want my fruitful sleep!

One day, I dreamt that eating chicken sperm or something and laying / giving birth to an egg will make your face skin flawless and smooth. And I saw my friends did that, I did too! And I gave birth to an egg and got traumatized!! I tried to kill the egg but it kept hopping! And i ran ran ran after the egg, and I woke up panting! Gosh!

Weird dream eh? I think I can collate and make into a book about my dreams already! Hahahaha! They are weird and funny!! And of cos, SCARY TOO!!!!

Shall head to bed already. Nights! ;)

I tried tying fish braid myself. Experimenting! this is my first try! :D

Kinda messy though. I find that fish braid suits girls with thin fine hair or those w little hair. it makes ur braid larger unlike the normal ones. so when you add an accessory, it'll look pretty :)

And this is my 2nd try on marie's hair :D critics? there are room for improvements i know hehe :D will praactise harder!

anyway i met the girls for dinner today. it was really fun. girls outing are ALWAYS. fun!

Marie's Garie's Huizi's love. Me and alena doesn't like it. ok i didn't try. cos alena said she tasted cheese in there. I HATE. HATE. cheese. so definitely yucky for me!

This in turn, taste nice! green tea flavour by the looks of it. It is green tea tiramisu :D

this pizza, everyone says it's superb. didn't eat cos it has cheese obviously!

Bimbibap! I wonder why jap restaurants sell bimbibap. kinda weird when it's a korean dish. oh well. not that bad. just that eat will get kinda sick of it.

Alena's beef pepper rice. Verdict: pepper lunch rocks better. :S to me the rice taste like garrett's popcorn. they said i'm weird. -.-

and i forgot to take photo of huizi's noodles. is nice. pork noodles or smthing. just that at first, her noodles were undercooked. so we told the staff, and they changed to a new bowl for her. and she said it was deli-li-liciouuuusss! :D

Last but not least, her dessert. Green tea icecream. Nice! :D

I find this restaurant is not bad. worth the try. We queued more than half an hours. waited dam long. not that bad. jus don't try bimbibap. not worth the money. try the 1st dish i posted. alot pple say nice. and try the chicken katsu thingy, garie say nice! :D

On a side note, i brought this watch to alter the strap size as it's too big for me. A birthday present from boyfriend :D but couldn't bear to wear so keep one side LOL. x: wearing it tmr! yay! Clark's sister's wedding tmr! Sure loads of fun!

Taos' Restaurant again!

I spent national day with great marvellous people! My ex colleagues from Swissotel The Stamford! :)

We were all interns there, except for yanjun and liz! It was such fun moments with them when working there! Learnt alot of things and know many great people!

This time, our meet up is at tao's restaurant. I believe I blogged about this restaurant umpteen times so I'll leave out the food part.

Let me intro them, liz and eds. Both very stylish people! Liz even took part in singing show bef - wo yao chang xia qu that one ba! :D Something like the bai wan da ge xin but is in singapore one! It was like last year's thing! Her singing is definitely good! :D

Eds always very style in his dressing! Oh yes, one joke k? My bf usually wears plain tee with berms and slippers even to orchard. But on this day, he wore semi formal and shoes. I asked him why, so surprising sia. He replied, "your this group of friends always wear v nice one. so i also must wear nice" LOL! I kept laughing sia. even when i told liz and yanjun they keep laughing HAHA! Oh yes, eds is a food blogger! you can catch him at

Next up, Nic! :D Very nice guy, super nice! Stayed same area as me, thus when we end work at STS (short form for swissotel), we go home tgt! A super gentlemen guy! Of cos eds also gentlemen! They both are great guys! :D Very competent at work! and v sporting! :D

Next up, Yan jun! :D She and liz has the same birth date, month and year! Haha. can say they are twins? but not blood related! So coincidence! She knows jap! is good at jap! And very gentle girl! :D Super caring, good listener! and well, marvellous! :D

It's always fun with them around, joking and playing! Such nice moments that remains! Later on, we went to play nation (a road across) and played saboteur! First time playing this game, and it's simple yet captivating!

Okay I'm sure many of you heard of guitar hero. I did, but didn't play before till that day! So fun larhs!! I was kinda addicted to drums x: hehe! and clark sux at drums. He super no rhythm. But he's good at guitar, well, good for a first timer! At least he hit 80-90 score! The best drumer goes to Eds! Partially, he has lots of practise at home w a set that his sis bought some time back! And our singer is Liz! :D haha! we took turns to play each time! Damn fun!

Did you know G2000 at OUB Centre having sales now? price range from $13 to $29 (shoes and apparels) or bags at $49? etc. Got myself a pair of chio shoes. Ok I let my friend see and he says not v nice to him. Clark said it's nice. To me is chio. My sis says look like dancing shoes. So I guess, erm, I say nice can le la x: It's comfortable! So I buy it! I wear more flats than heels! Can't stand walking in heels too long. Will die though I very much want to wear heels :/ My sis can tahan. Power sia.

Went to chinatown for dinner. And yes, there sell lots of food. One of my favourite is the Korean bbq squid :D It is chewy and soft. Unlike those pre-pack made me bite till my teeth could break from it -.- and not mentioning - jaw pain.

Just couldn't think what to upload and saw this funny epic ss my friend took down. You know facebook always have this popup pictures from random albums of ur friends or status that was years back and they pop up at the side? Mine did. and my friend saw and he ss down and tagged me. LOL. On that very day, on 2 different years, I posted these 2 status. LOL.

It is really seldom we can match out timings and meet up together. Especially cos zhiwei's working! Haha. Thanks Marie for forgo`ing her outing with her parents and ate dinner with us instead! A pity we didn't shop for Bxx today! HAHA ! Thanks babes for walking with me streets after streets to search for party things ! :)

We had dinner at Crystal Jade @ Bugis Junction. I was craving for char siew pau (different from those coffee shop ones). Theirs are sectioned into 3 portions. Delicious of cos. However, I ordered the glutinous rice with chicken, and it was kinda, hmm, I rate 3/5? Yea.

Taken with my iPhone camera, so don't expect much :)

The current craving char siew pau. Soft and not bad. Didn't had much appetite today. But ate all the paus nevertheless~!

I know this is dated back quite long ago. Mothers' Day! I'm not sure if I did blog about this before. :S

Anyway this was ordered by my sis. She actually asked her friend to custom-made these cupcakes for mum's mothers' day and she asked me I wanna share! So nice! So I don't have to brood over to what to give to mum~!

Anyway, it was during our exam period, and sis went to coll the cake personally from her friend! Woots~!

Mum was shocked and happy of cos, first time seeing such beautiful cupcakes till she couldn't bear to eat it! Haha!

p.s. should I keep long fringe or cut short fringe? Can't stand my ugly eyebrows :/

Clark's Graduation

Didn't blog for quite some time already~! Went to Clark's graduation. Sat with his sis and mum!

Waited and sat there for quite long sia then they start. And I face limits with the kit lens I got. Thus face cannot really see :S

As always, best part is the buffet spread. BUT HOR, take once liao, buffet gone -.- too many pple grabbing le. Clark's mama power, she managed to go for a second round - desserts HAHA!

After that he took alot photos with his friends. chit chat, and the excitement going on~!

Went to KAP mac for lunch/dinner (combined). Their teacher came, so, they took another shot! Pewpew~!

We wanted to watch Dylan Dog. However only left with front row seats. :( Heard is very nice. Maybe one day I'll go watch ba! :D

After exams, I went out on Saturday! Yes, I'm kinda free now. Just doing some ad hoc jobs here and there! :)

It was great to be out and all, and definitely, with great people!

It has been long since I've been to bugis again. Quite a refreshing experience. Oh, I bought a double eyelid glue. I've always been dreaming of getting double eyelid. Surgery has its risk. So I decided to try those temporary methods~! First time buying, haven't use, don't really know how to use it and hope it works man! :(

Walking around bugis, feel kinda shy to shoot. Being a beginner, there's alot to be learnt! I think I got to overcome my shyness or paiseh-ness to take some photos! I can do it! Got inspired today, or can say, more motivated today! Definitely agreeing to what people have been saying, "I have not shoot enough!" I just need to keep shooting to learn! Yes yes. I will try! :)

Went down to Haji Lane, and remembered having crazy moments with my girls when we are in poly. A memory definitely to keep. Delving in such a beautiful place, I enjoyed my day alot. Well, shots aren't that good. So, only a photo's up! (the photo in this entry). Still a bad shot though. *sulk*

After exams call for a new hair cut. Hair length from waist till above chest. How? nice?

Oh, forgot to add, I cut at NEX@Serangoon. Basement level. The hair salon call Mystique. Super good service. Wash cut blow, massage, style~! 6 sessions for $85 (if I never remember wrong). This is uni/poly/jc package. For sec sch students and pri sch is much cheaper! :D

Woots~ And the hairdresser is so cute and patient un-entangling my hair one by one gently! omg!!!~~~ *droools*

Sometimes we tried to hold on. However, we realize we are holding on is a pile of sand. That one day, what's left is only a few grains left. Nevertheless, I always choose to hold on whatever is remaining. But, things doesn't seem the way we wan it to be. Often so, with a gust of wind, everything's gone. Gone with the wind.

What we wanted, was just to hold on, to get it back. Even if we tried grabbing another pile of sand, it's never the same. Would it be different or better if the sand wasn't grabbed?

I choose to contain my sand in a jar. Even if it's spilled, I'll get a new jar.

However, the sand wants to join back to the ocean. Free from me. I granted its wish.

Though how much I did treasure the sand, it seems to be gone, forever.

Will it ever be back?

I saw this on gmarket selling this foldable bottles in different colours for $1.50 each. Thus, I decided to buy and marie decided to get one too! :)

Update: okay, through my testing, i don't see any leakage. Will update!

What's so special about this bottle then?

It really seems like ribena bottle whereby it's versatile and flexible. and this is translucent.

This is how the whole bottle looks like..!

What's special is, you can actually fold the bottle to fit in anywhere you want. Lets say you want to keep in your pocket, you could just roll it up, and stuff it in your pocket.

It comes with the "old school time sucking way" of drinking ! haha!

I always face problems of having too many things in my bag, in addition to an empty water bottle halfway through the day, because I drank finish but the bottle takes up space. Thus, this bottle will allow me to save space and it's so convenient! :D

Moreover, they have this free matching colour hook for guys or even girls to hook on to their bags in case they want to free space or maybe guys prefer tt? Or more convenient to take water out. esp for outdoor activities!

How convenient it can get.

What teenagers like to do, or youngsters, is to fill the bottle up, and FREEZE IT IN THE FREEZER, so they can get ice cool water that last them! I rmb I often did that for sports day. LOL.

However, most importantly of all, do you know that some plastics contains BPA? Like in milk bottles (in the past), etc? BPA (Bisphenol A), is an organic compound with two phenol functional groups. It is used to make polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins, along with other applications.

Wiki says "Known to be estrogenic since the mid 1930s, concerns about the use of bisphenol A in consumer products were regularly reported in the news media in 2008 after several governments issued reports questioning its safety, prompting some retailers to remove products containing it from their shelves. Thus, this bottle DOES NOT have BPA! :D Which it's safe for usage! :D

When we arrive home, the carpark lots near our block are all taken up. Have to drive further away to find a lot. Thus, daddy says:

LOL. hahahahahahah~! That's why carpark lots are full around my block when we reached home at 8+pm~! Lol funny sia papa.

Anyway, i took a video of feeding my sister's hamster and see how many sunflower seeds (the bigger ones) it can fit inside its mouth. It's about 26. and still going strong but i choose not to feed it more already HAHA. Halfway feeding, my dog farted LOL.

Joining the biotherm contest has indeed caused alot of inconvenience for people whom I spammed. For that, I really apologise. Sincerely apologise.

The reason why I joined this contest is because of the 1 year supply of biotherm products which may includes moisturizer, toner, etc. Because since Jan, I didn't have moisturizer and thought this contest might come in handy. Secondly, it can save me alot of money! :)

Through this contest, I really really saw those friends who encouraged me, even those I'm not close with.

I first wanna thank is Ann. Really, she's the first that's so supportive and helped me ask around for votes, constantly, even when I'm being busy studying. For that, I really really felt super touched.

As promised, here are the reviews for Lao Beijing's Hi-Tea Buffet.

My babes and I went to Plaza Singapura for it!

Per Adult: $13.80 nett

Overall Comment: It's okay to go try once. Alot of dumplings with different sauce. Food variety wise, is average lorhs. Xiao Long Bao not as good as Crystal Jade's. Food that are not bad is Beef noodles, Mushroom, Roti-Prata-with-chives-and-meat! Almond jelly dessert and some appetizers.

This is the menu (picture of the menu sucks I know lol). You can see roughly the variety of food available. Advice is, if it's not PH, SAT, SUN, a little part of the food variety are not available like the jelly fish.

Basically, some of us actually didn't eat anything and waited for the hi-tea buffet, and chiong arhs~! But couldn't eat that much lol.

The buffet spread. As you can see, they do have go-take-food-yourself as well as an order sheet of dumplings and other items. So both ala carte + self-service buffet style.

This is the ala carte list you can order! (sorry you have to tilt your head cos I can't get it tilted. -.-). The variety is almost around what you can see in this blog post.

By 3.35pm, we are almost quite full already lol. But we still sat there chitchat as well as try to finish up what's left on the table! Oh yes, did I mention that the centre of the table has fish tank? It's like incorporated inside the table with live fishes. Cool eh? *winks*

Other close-ups on food!

Xiao Long Bao. Not as nice as crystal jade's one~! Oh wells....

Beef Noodles! :D This beef noodles are one of the nicest food amongst the rest. Haha.

Zha Jiang Mian! Idk what it is called in english. But this taste not bad too. With the minced meat, the noodles taste nice!

Dumpling in hot and sour sauce! Actually their dumplings almost the same, just that, different sauce. There's one tomato & egg sauce. We didn't dare try that LOL.

This small pau, has alot of chives inside. I prefer the one at the back which is everybody's favourite. Taste like roti prata but has meat and chives fillings inside! :D

I was the only one who kept eating this. It's cucumber appetizer. Has sort of a soysauce-chilli combi! Nice! :D Cold Dish!

And the rest of the random food! :D

Alena went Las Vegas for holiday, and got us souvenirs! :D It's not usable in casino! HAHA! Else, we all go cash out liao~!

After having the buffet, we went around window shopping and cam-whoring. Felt damn guilty of not studying for the whole day!

Besides window shopping, we actually went to go Paragon's Long Champ outlet to collect Sheila's bag. Long Champ is famous for its life time warranty. However, they denied to change Sheila's Long Champ bag as the bag has bubbles on its surface. Looks damn bad. And they took 4 weeks to call her back, and all they say is "I'm sorry, your serial number does not belongs to those serial number that can exchange the bag" and told her she got to make do with the bag. Like WUUUUUUT?

Long Champ is a famous brand around the world, and I always thought their customer service is of quality. However, today I witness the exact opposite. We went into the shop, and we asked the sales lady (look around 20+ yrs old) why couldn't Sheila exchange her bag when it is warranty-guaranteed? The sales lady simply just said she don't know. Aren't Long Champ suppose to communicate with each other? "Don't know" is just not simply the reply or solution. Then, the manager / Supervisor (I guessed) came by and whispered something to her, and the sales lady told us "someone has already called you to tell you the reason why, so you can't change the bag". She doesn't even know the reason herself, and she can just shove us off?

Thus, Lyn just gave up, and told us she'll bring back to Paris to help Sheila ask instead as Lyn's flying back next week. And the sales lady was giving a face expression showing and thinking huh-like-real-u-go-paris look. And we asked her, what can we do now when Long Champ has life time warranty and you told us Sheila can't change her bag? The sales lady simply reply "You can bring to Paris to change yourself". LIKE WUUUUUT AGAIN? Is this the attitude that a service staff should give? Especially in Orchard Road, Paragon? Then the same person (who I guessed earlier that is the supervisor/manager in store) just passed up the card with the email address and say "you can email to them if you have any feedback".

Seriously, with the stuck-up sarcastic attitude, I really feel that they are not fit to be service crew of the well-known boutique or even any retail outlets. Eventually, the sales lady said she'll call for us and give Sheila back a call tomorrow. Promises can be empty. Sheila received a call 4 weeks later when they told her earlier that they'll send back to Paris to change to back and get back to her soon, and tt 4 weeks later they claim it could not be changed. So, I told the sales lady to write her name on the card, so that we can be assured that she will call back. The sales lady wrote her name with a pissed-off-attitude, and unwilling attitude. After we left, i glanced back, and the 3 staffs were all looking at us, giving a disgusted look.

No1: Should they even treat us like that when we are the ones who are being served inappropriately?

No2: We can all sense they despised us just because we are teenagers? The look they gave us was pure looking down on us. (disclaimer: this is what we felt)

No3: Life time warranty was promised, yet, service undelivered, promise broken.

No4: I feel that Long Champ should look into Paragon outlet's staffs and review their attitude and service quality and abilities.

Anyway, to be fair, this is what 6 of us saw, felt and witnessed. I just hope that the sales lady will call Sheila back with a solution for her, and not give her the same old reply "there's nothing we can do" given that Sheila has been a long standing customer of Long Champ, way right before they were launched in Singapore.

Enough of happenings today. Nights and lets pray for a good start tmr!

Just a sudden rush thoughts through my mind now, so just logged on here and blog about it using my phone.

Usually guys would be like really strong on the outside, won't cry and stuffs cos they think they shouldn't (but why not man). So perceptions of them maybe like strong on the outside but weak on the inside. As time and centuries pass, they are gradually showing their real inner side of them.

Some guys will tend to be v emotional. They tend to keep their emotions inside, till one day they'll say out. And keep quiet again. Hmm, guys do have their rights to even cry it out. Some do, some don't. Maybe era's changing? Now girls seem to be the one not crying instead. And being strong at the front. Well, the world's really getting complicated. Like how now house husbands are more of a common thing. (which to me isn't a bad thing!)

I feel tt people shld be expressive and say out their thoughts in a collective manner to solve any misunderstandings or problems, or say out any things hidden inside them tt make them feel sad, saying out feels better than keeping it hidden! We shld voice out in a neutral way so tt pple or opposite party can understand what we mean!

Anyway, I'm gonna blog abt THE NEW MILO (okay I know my blog has very little pple reading due to my past negligence, sorry!)

I know that MILO has always been most people's favourite drink! (well some don't like them thou)

Anyway went to NTUC and saw this pack saying "MILO - EASY COOL, just add cold water".

Super interesting right? I told mum to get a pack to try. And yes, some people do ask if it works. Now here it is...

Add really cold water (mine's about nearing 5degrees?)

Stir and stir. I noticed some residue at the top still.

However, after stirring for long, it does completely dissolve! Amazing! :D

Parents brought my siblings and I to Thomson Plaza for dinner last night. Swensens, yes it is!

It has been really long since I ate Swensens. I think the last time I ate it was when I'm in poly? I ate it during Azmi's bday with marie! Haha!

Since daddy has like $30 voucher and idk what other Swensens voucher, thus, they decided to go eat Swensens. In the end the bill came up to about $100 -.-

Weekends has always been really crowded. and yes, CROWDED. It's hard to get a parking lot. and some selfish guy stole my dad's parking lot. He just came in the gantry, zoom in front of us and parked. What a "gracious" Singaporean. KIASU LIKE MAD LA. wth. Den we stayed nearby his car, to see who this person is. The whole family family (for 5mins we waited), dared not come out of the car till we drove further off (where they tot we were gone), and we turned our heads and saw the man with his family coming out of the car and quickly scoot off.

YUCKS. What kind of Singaporeans they are. Seriously. My whole family keep driving and waiting for a carpark lot. Thank God, we finally found one. After that, Swensens had quite a long queue. Waiting again. I felt that Swensens at Thomson Plaza is TOO COLD. Esp the seat I'm seating at.

Dad's BBQ Chicken set! Looks really yummy, and especially most healthy amongst the rest of our dishes! Too bad I can't eat chicken. Sian Sian. Another 1-2 weeks then I can start eating moderately!!!!!

Mum's chicken chop dish. She always could not finish her dish. End up my sis ate up for her.

My fish and chips. Could not eat the chicken, so ordered fish. Fish fish fish. And fish and chips is the cheapest amongst the fish-dish. and the rest like lamb and beef are even more expensive. so, FISH AND CHIPS. Not that bad though. Fries is quite nice but cold in awhile due to the ever-so-cold aircon. *BOO*

Sis's pasta~! She says it's vvvv nice. It has like little small chillis in the sauce, that made her kept drinking water haha. She asked more cheese, and added alot in her dish. *eek cheese!* I know cheese-lovers love to add so much cheese in there. Reminded me of Marie and Lyn who added alot cheese as well~ (if I didn't rmb wrong) LOL. They finished almost half-to-whole of a bottle provided at pastamania.

Bro's breaded chicken. Very worth sia. He has like 3 chicken drumsticks inside. big ones~! Omg~! so worth it man. And he ate all (he's a fussy eater). So I can conclude it shld be quite nice eh?

Lastly my family ate ice cream. My mum and dad shared topless 5 (a 5 scoop ice-cream dish), and bro and sis each have an ice cream cone like the picture below. I didnt eat cos it's best I avoid. Been quite long since I ate really cold stuffs. Now I opt for hot drinks or luke warm/room temp, instead of cold. Cold, very seldom haha.

Doesn't this ice cream looks like. Sis ate rocky road flavour. Seems vvv chocolatey!

Anyway, Swensens do have student lunch promo. And holland V outlet has 24hrs of that promo if I didn't rmb wrong. Go check it out :)

My boyfriend has been busy with his final year project on reports, presentations, exhibition etc. Thus, when he was finally free on last friday, he surprise me by coming down to my place.

He bought me my latest cravings of popeye's mash potato~ Sweet ttm!

And gave me OSIM snooze. The flexible massage for neck, waist or thighs!
He told me because I was having neckaches after discharge from hospital, thus, he thought it would be a suitable gift!

He told me he came on friday because he couldn't make it on monday as the report due was on the following day.

Though i did felt disappointed, and it was our first valentine's day together, however, no choice! It's his last lap to graduation!

However, my ever-so-sweet bf actually came down on this very day and show up with a rose with teddy bear~!!!! Hahahahaha! I was shocked and happy but didn't show it out and he said i looked sian. LOL. Anyway, the cute him insisted on not getting a real rose as it would wither. Well, true. So this is an everlasting rose! :D

He went to helped me get things like cotton bud for me to apply cream on my wound, ear sticks because my right ear has infection due to the cheapo earrings I'm wearing LOL. Those bugis kind. Realised I'm sensitive to those metals /; No more bugis earrings :(

He also helped me buy Vitamin C as my body immunity is weak.

Sweet or not? :)

Anyway, tried baking this chocolate haupia pie for bf and family. However, EPIC FAILED! I realised I'm totally not used to the coconut taste. GOSH. :( My maid loves it though o.o"

BF said it taste quite alright. Haish. I tried wrong recipe already! :(

Anyway, I promise to sleep early! So now's already so late! NIGHTS! :D

Happy Valentine's day to Everyone! :)

I'm sure plenty of you at this dayy will be happy. Well, valentine's day isn't only about couples. It's a day where besties celebrate together as well! :) For the previous years since poly, I've been celebrating with my besties like marie, lynette, alena, zhiwei, gracia, and even diana!

I'm really glad to see some of them really getting on well with their lives. I can see how happy Diana is in her school as well as in her relationship. Felt really happy for her and knowing how busy she's getting now! Haha!

How Gracia is doing well as well~! Always with her sweet bf! :D Feel happy for her too!

And do you know how a great cook Marie is! cooking chicken curry, chilli crab, wu xiang, baking things, cookies, etc! She's really capable, not mentioning how smart she is too! :)

Alena's another sweet little girl who never fails to make pple smile, happy, she's hyper and very helpful! :D she's really the little sister to our whole clique :) Haha!

and Lynette who is currently in Switzerland now pursuing her studies! My god, how we all have grown and pursue our own future. She's someone whom I remembered from the first day to be very sociable, active, and friendly!

Zhiwei, the girl I know since sec 3! Very very sweet and quiet girl! Hahahahaha! But do you know she loves those english pop songs! or something. Those that I hear liao will headache LOL! She's very very nice and studious :)!

Time really pass, and this year we are not meeting up to spend valentine's together. What a waste~!

Exams are coming and it's such a drone! Well, though I'm currently cooped up at home, but I decide to try a new recipe tmr! :D Will update when I'm finished with the whole thing! :D

Well, this year's cny seems a little on the cooler side. Usually there's alot hussle and bussle but this year abit tone down. Just abit :)

CNY has always been a festival I've been looking forward to. Going on visitations and super loads of fun. Hey yea, maybe there will be better pictures this year! Well I hope I'm well enough to even take them. My camera has been sleeping in my dry cabi since last week~!!

An Unforgettable Experience in 2011

A way to start off this year, well, to anyone, isn't very good. But looking it at an inner thought, it has its benefits. It led me to see an inner sight of what I should be as I grow older, and how people do really care for me, my family, boyfriend, friends, besties, etc.

I am veryvery thankful for my mum. She was the one who accompanied me to see the doctor on last monday, took blood test, went to do CT Scan on tuesday, encouraged me throughout, went back to doc on wednesday, fixed surgery appointment, and went with me to take another blood test and heart scan again.

As Mount Elizabeth charges are too high, my family and I went around sourcing for lower cost alternative, and found a new doctor, at East Shore Hospital (now known as Parkway East, newly renovated). I was really thankful for her. She still went with me to see Dr Heng on Monday at her clinic, help me fixed the appointment, prayed constantly for me. Without her, I really wouldn't and couldn't imagine how I could cope with so many things.

The sudden struck of a surgery yet again, has really caused an internal emotion breakdown and I just kept asking, "why is it me?".

My parents went to the hospital with me at 9am, and boyfriend, Clark, came along. My mum looked through the whole entire procedure of admitting me into the hospital, (the hospital service super good), and settled me down, help me with the changing, care for me. She and Clark walked me to the surgical theatre, and waited for me till I ended about 3 hours later.

My mum stayed at the hospital with me, took care of me, and came early morning the next day despite she's sick. Cooked porridge for me and all.

Let me say in a day-to-day basis.

On the day, went to the hospital at 9am, feeling super nervous. Dad and Mum came with me, and BF was alrdy waiting at the hospital. Mum helped to see through the whole admission process, and we were guided up to my ward. Changed into the gown and lots of procedures, and mum and clark waited for me till 12.30pm, for my surgery.

I really tried to keep my spirits up, smiling, talking in an upbeat voice, but it was not for long.

As they put me on the rolling bed, and roll me towards the surgical theatre accompanied by mum and clark, I told God, " Please be with me, heal me, protect me lord. Amen".

As I was in the surgical theatre, waiting for doc to arrive, I started tearing. Uncontrollably. The anaesthetic doctor was a 50yrs old + man with not so many hair, and sweating (obvioously he's late but doc even later), and talked so fast, poke the needle in my hand so fast, talk to me rudely while I'm so nervous, and pumped in the liquid (3 of them) in 2 secs. Like IT'S PAIN DUDE, MY VEINS ARE SMALL AND UR LIQUID ARE SUPER LOTS!!!!! (That's why I don't like male doc for anaestatic) But the nurses were super nice, One of them named Siti encouraged me with her warm hands, rubbing my cold ones, talked to me, to calm me down, and then signal the rest in. Dr Heng came in, held my hand, while I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I was half awake when I heard the operation ended BUT THE TUBE (to help me breathe during operation) was still STUCK DOWN MY THROAT T________________T. After awhile, when I'm more awake, I felt a slight pain at my tummy area, and the nurses was talking, and I was at the resting area. Later on, they pushed me towards my bed, and transfer me to my bed. IT WAS A SUPER PAINFUL PROCESS. One of them FLIPPED me to the side, my tummy hurts like mad and I immediately was fully awake and SHOUTED AND SCREAMED AND CRIED! while the other 2 on other side put a board underneath me, and they "1,2,3, BUMP" me on the bed and I SCREAMED OUT LOUD AND KEPT CRYING. THE PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING! My mum quickly wiped my tears and soothed me, and I drifted off to sleep.

Next moment, I realised, I was on drip.

Yes, this needle was the one that anaesthetic doc pushed the liquid roughly in -.- This dripped contains glucose and painkiller. I had to be on dripped till the next day. Because of surgery, since 6am i'm not allowed to eat or drink any water, and continue this on till the very next day with only 30ml water allowed in total. I was not allowed to get off the bed. Mum took care of me, fed me with water, boyfriend took care of me also after mum left. then sis came around in the evening, and boyfriend went back school to scan his attendance and came back again). Parents came at night and they all left.

Besides this, I discovered that, I had a tube in my urine hole. (the process of removing it on the 2nd day was indeed pain and uncomfortable)

On the second day, porridge day. Hospital porridge, Mum cooked porridge, Marie brought porridge. porridge porridge porridge ._. Morning mum came, took care of me, waited for clark to come, and left to see doc cos she's sick and I insist she needs rest. Clark came from school, took care of me, waited for marie to come in the afternoon, they took care of me carefully, talked to me, and clark left to scan attendance in school, while marie continue taking care of me. In the evening, clark came back, and mum came, and mum and marie left around 7pm, and clark stayed with me, helped me, till 10pm when he left.

My relatives came to visit me, and shawn came to visit me as well.

Through this whole process till now, my mum and sis has been taking care of me while at home. I cant sneeze, cough, blow my nose, walk, sit upright, even going toilet is a problem. I felt sorry that my sis has to miss her appointment with her friends just to fetch me out from hospital with my parents. I had to skipped her birthday dinner because I can't move. So Clark came and accompany me, took care of me after he ended school.

How my mum washed me up, fed me, how my boyfriend fed me, how my sis helped me around in the house, how my mum cooked for me, took care of me till she's sick, how marie took care of me, how shawn and my relatives visited me, and my friends encouraged me. Really, All these support was unforgettable.

It really made me learn how to appreciate people around me, to appreciate health, and to realise, that, a family is always a family.

And a true friend, is always a true friend.

And my boyfriend, who I know he's the best, sweetest. The one who said I'm still pretty when I'm look so terrible in the hospital.

My mum, my dad, my sis, and even how my bro helped me to hold me bowl of soup and bring it to me (SO RARE LOL). really appreciate alot.

I really want to thank God for my mum especially. She's really a great woman. A great mother, a great child of God.

And lastly, with God's help, healing and blessing, I really want to thank God, our father for his healing power and fighting this throughout with me.

But I love convertibles! Those kind that has 2 rows one. Not 2-seater (totally nono) but those 4 seater ones! :D So ultra cool man!
